This is an exciting time for all of us in District 7, with tremendous opportunites on the horizon!
The new White Rock Hills Branch Library and Recreation Center will provide educational opportunities for all ages and be a catalyst for economic development benefiting the entire city.
With more than 7 million visitors annually, redevelopment of the Fair Park area is key to achieving the vision: ‘To make Fair Park a major destination in Dallas and the region.” We’re on track to leverage the tremendous traffic and activity generated by this true gem.
The Bexar Street Initiative redevelopment corridor is coming on line providing retail shops, urban townhomes, pedestrian improvements and plazas, DART linkages, and public infrastructure.
I look forward to continuing the work we started to improve all of District 7.
